Pre-collect program success
Access works with our clients to build early-out/pre-collection programs where we function as an extension of our client’s staff to provide an approach to managing accounts and mitigating the risk of additional overdue payments. Our solutions establish a systematic approach to following up with customers who have not responded to initial reminders and focus on using a positive and proactive approach to prompt, timely payment while offering solutions in cases of financial difficulty.
University
A large, private university noticed an uptick in overdue payments that did not require a formal collection approach but were becoming a burden on their internal staff. Our pre-collect program returned over 15% of past due accounts to current, while providing our client a cost-effective way to manage these accounts and increase cash flow while they built their in-house team.
Commercial Telecom
A large telecommunications company recognized the need for a pre-collect program to reduce their collection account portfolio and reached out to Access. We assigned a team of experienced telecommunication collectors who took a white glove approach to working with our client and their debtors to resolve disputes. This resulted in recovering 67% of the accounts placed and led to an expanded program.
Turning collection account returns into collection success. Access was founded on the concept of working every account it receives to its full potential and regularly recovers money for our clients that larger prime agencies have left on the table. We do this by investing more time and resources into every account we receive.
Insurance
A major insurance and financial services company experienced a large return of lightly worked accounts from their prime collection agencies, they reached out to Access for support. We assigned a team of experienced insurance collectors and developed a tailored campaign to work the large batches of these lightly worked accounts. The Access team has recovered almost 20% of placements to date while working at a traditional primes rate. Our success culminated in the client extending our contract and awarding Access a prime agency contract set to begin in late 2024.
Telecom
A large telecommunications company and active Access client was struggling with agency performance and large collection returns from other prime and seconds agencies. We stepped in to accept a large placement of tertiary accounts and worked them under our standard collection process. Our success on this clean-up effort, along with our standing as the top agency across their standard agencies resulted in receiving 50% of business and later increased to a 60% split.
